Oliver & Recelyn

Oliver and Recelyn tied the knot in the most unexpected place.

Early on the day of their wedding, the bride had to be rushed to the emergency room and the doctors would not let her out until she was completely well. The wedding would just need be postponed until further notice. Since it was a morning wedding, there was not enough time to cancel everything.

Through the help of family and church friends, the wedding ceremony was moved to where the bride was confined. Wearing their pink gowns and carrying their bouquets, the bride’s entourage marched up the hospital’s wheelchair ramp while the bride and groom was side by side—the groom walking while the bride was rolled in a gurney.

It was an unlikely sight but everyone who bore witness to the event can only attest to the love between the couple and their immediate community.

For Oliver and Recelyn, it did not matter where they ended up saying their vows. For as long as they have each other, any place is as good as it can get.

“It’s amazing how HE showed us so much love today, I praise God for His faithfulness, and by His grace, everything is possible. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family whom we treasure each priceless moment you share with us on this very special day. Each one of you left a mark in our hearts and we are so grateful forever. Thank You!” ~ Oliver

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
